UPPL gains popularity amongst citizens in Bodoland region

KOKRAJHAR,JAN 20:The ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) has claimed that the party is gained up it’s popularity amongst the citizens across the Bodoland Territorial Region.

Addressing the reporters today held at central UPPL office in Kokrajhar, UPPL media cell chairman, Hantigiri Narzary, UPPL secretary and spokesperson, Somnath Narzary,party spokesperson, Kusumbar Choudhury told that the UPPL party is committed to work for all round development of the citizens, and subsequently rendering services towards the welfare and uplift of the society.The leaders said that the UPPL led BTR government under the leadership of Pramod Boro, CEM of BTR, has launched many mission and visions in it’s glorious four year reign in BTR government since 2020 (December 15).

The leaders stated that the peace is prevailed in Bodoland region,and development initiatives are progressing in all sectors.They said that the UPPL party has gained it’s mass popularity as well well wishing amongst the communities.
They informed that several developmental initiatives including launching of community vision document of BTR had received a good response from the peoples cutting across the communities that paved a tranquility amongst the peoples.

On a question of the upcoming BTC elections,the UPPL leaders told that the UPPL party is fully prepared to contest the upcoming BTC council elections to be held this 2025 year itself.
‘ The UPPL party is fully prepared to participate the council elections whenever it takes place.The party leaders and workers are working dedicatedly for strengthening the party affairs across the region “, UPPL leaders said.
They also said that the BTR government is celebrating the 5th BTR Peace Accord Day with two-day program scheduled beginning on 27th January in Kokrajhar.

Assam chief minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma is gracing the grand celebration of the BTR peace accord day on 28th January being organised at Green Field in Kokrajhar.
