KOKRAJHAR,JAN 21: The ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) has been gaining up mass popularity amongst the citizens across the Bodoland region.
On Tuesday, five more prominent personalities from different political parties including BPF party from Chirang and Baksa districts formally joined the UPPL party in the august presence of Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region and UPPL president,and senior party leaders.
The newly joined members are included Rafik Ahmed, organising secretary of BPF, Mrinmoy Dutta,youth president of Baksa district of GSP,Dhrubajyoti Baishya, former AASU leader of Baksa district and Ghadadhar Das, social worker.
The newly joined members were offered warm welcome and felicitation with party mafflers by UPPL president and CEM of BTR, Pramod Boro and senior party leaders.
CEM of BTR Pramod Boro extended warm welcome and felicitation to the newly joined members from different political parties including BPF, GSP and Congress party.
