KOKRAJHAR ,DEC 14: The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Pramod Boro, inaugurated the newly constructed Academic Building of the Department of Botany at Kokrajhar Science College in Kokrajhar on Saturday amidst the presence of teaching fraternities, students and local public representatives.
The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced classrooms and modern laboratories, designed to enhance the academic and research experience for students.
Speaking at the event, CEM Pramod Boro emphasized the BTC’s commitment to promoting quality education and creating better infrastructure for students in the region.
He has highlighted that the new building will raise the educational standards of the Science College in Kokrajhar, providing students with improved learning opportunities and helping them excel in their academic pursuits.
He said that the government of Bodoland Territorial Region has been stressing to make ushering of sustainable development on various aspects including the educational sector.
” I’m very much delighted to inaugurate the newly built Academic Building of the Department of Botany of Kokrajhar Science College today. Equipped with state-of-the-art classrooms & laboratories, the new building will greatly enhance the learning experience of our students, and the educational standards of the college”, CEM Boro added.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by MLA Lawrence Islary, College Principal Dr RN Sinha, college faculty, students, and dignitaries from the region, who expressed optimism about the positive impact of the new facility on science education and research.
