KOKRAJHAR,DEC 15: Marking the four year journey in the government under the dynamic leadership of Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region,the government of BTR celebrated four anniversary with a befitting programme scheduled at the Bhergaon mini stadium in Udalguri district.
The event was organised in a grand amidst large number of participation cutting across the communities from different districts of Bodoland region with a theme of regaining sustainable peace, harmony and integration in the region.
Notability, the BTR alliance government led by UPPL party was formed on 15th December in 2020 and since then the BTR government has been rendering services for welfare and development of the society across the region.
Assam Legislative Assembly speaker, Biswajit Daimary, Assam cabinet minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma,the CEM of Bodoland Territorial Region, Pramod Boro, BTCLA speaker Katiram Boro were graced as inaugurator, special guest, chief guest on the occasion.
Several distinguished dignitaries including BTR executive members, MLAs,MCLAs of BTR, Principal Secretary of BTR were prominent attendees in the event.
Several distinguished personalities in the field sports, culture, agriculture were also extended warm felicitation amidst the presence of invited guests.
Speaker Daimary extended his warm greetings to the people of Bodoland region,and it’s government on the occasion of happy celebration of fourth year successful anniversary of the BTR government with a day-long colourful programme scheduled.He has lauded that the BTR government under the leadership of Pramod Boro has initiated various welfare and developmental initiatives towards the ushering of sustainable development across the since it’s inception in the reign.He said that the state and BTR governments are jointly working with for all round development of the society in the region.
CEM of Bodoland Territorial Region, Pramod Boro stated that the four years of BTR Government with the theme of regaining sustainable peace, harmony & integrity in the Bodoland is prevailed amongst the citizens.He said that over the past four years, the BTR Government has relentlessly worked to foster peace, inclusive progress, sustainable development, and equitable justice for every section of BTR’s diverse society.
He said that this four years’ journey has been regarded as a milestone reaffirms unwavering commitment to building a brighter and more harmonious future for all.
