KOKRAJHAR,DEC 30: The 30th Inter-District Masters Athletic Championship concluded on a high note at the SAI Stadium in Kokrajhar on Monday.
The four-day event, which began on December 27, saw participation from over 1,200 senior athletes representing 32 sports districts across the state of Assam.
Moranhat secured the top spot in overall best teams, followed by Silapathar and Dibrugarh in second and third positions, respectively.
In Best Men’s Teams, Dibrugarh emerged as champions, with Silapathar and Moranhat taking the second and third places.
In Best Women’s Teams, Moranhat claimed the top honor, while Silapathar and Kamrup Metro secured the second and third spots.
In March Past, host Kokrajhar, impressed by winning first place, with Digboi and Kamrup Metro finishing second and third.
Kokrajhar MLA Lawrence Islary, Chairperson of the organizing committee, along with Kabiranjan Brahma, Vice President of the Assam Olympic Association, and Maguram Balary, Working President of the Assam Masters Athletic Association, presented trophies and medals to the winners.
