KOKRAJHAR, JAN 27: Along with the rest of the state,the districts of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) joined the celebration of 76th Republic Day on Sunday at their respective district headquarters with befitting programme scheduled which saw large number of participation from different areas.

In Kokrajhar,the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Pramod Boro hoisted national flag at Kokrajhar Govt HS and MP School parade ground in Kokrajhar on the occasion of 76th Republic Day celebration on Sunday.
The Republic Day was organised by district administration, Kokrajhar in a befitting programme scheduled that saw huge participation of gathering.

CEM Boro received guard of honour presented march-past by police personnel, students contingents from different school, colleges that witnessed an attraction among the audience.
A multi cultural representing different communities was demonstrated to mark the celebration.
Boro earlier, paid homage to national martyrs at Swahid Bedi and Mahandas Karamchand Gandhi at MG Park in Kokrajhar.

CEM Boro has extended his warm greetings to all citizens of the state on the occasion of Republic Day,said that the nation today celebrated 76th Republic Day which is a very proud moment for the citizens of the country.He said that the BTR government is committed to work for all round development of the society, and accordingly launched various missions and visions for bringing healthy welfare and development of the society across the Bodoland region.

He stated that the government of Bodoland Territorial Region is committed to work for all round development of the society,and accordingly rendered services towards the welfare and uplift of the citizens.
” On the auspicious morning of the 76th Republic Day of Bharat, I offered my humble homage & floral tributes to Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi Ji, and paid my respectful tributes to our revered martyrs at the Swahid Bedi.Their ideals and sacrifices continue to be our guiding beacons as we strive to build the India of their dreams”, CEM Boro said.

In Chirang, Assam cabinet minister, Urkhao Gwra Brahma hoisted Indian national flag Kajalgaon parade ground.
Brahma received guard of honour march past presented by police, student contingents on the occasion which was organised by the Chirang district administration.

In Udalguri, the deputy chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Gabinda Chandra Basumatary hoisted the national flag on the occasion.
