400 new members join UPPL party in Parbathjora

KOKRAJHAR, DEC 29: The ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) is reaching out to the common masses across the Bodoland region,and subsequently many new members from different political parties are joining the party.

On Sunday,more than 400 new members from various political parties, and organisations including BPF joined the UPPL party at a joining programme held at the Khutabagra playground under Debitola primary committee of Parbathjora district committee of the party.
UPPL vice president and former MCLA,Afjal Haque Sarkar, UPPL secretary and BTR executive member, Ranjit Basumatary,and senior party leaders were graced and welcomed the newly joined members with traditional Aronai and party mafflers.

Basumatary stated that the UPPL party is now gaining up it’s popularity amongst the citizens across the region.He said that the BTR government under the leadership of Pramod Boro,the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial is rendering services for wellbeing of the society,and accordingly the BTR region has reached at this juncture in it’s four year journey of the government.
He said that the opposition BPF party is now become irrelevant amongst the peoples as the BPF failed to address the problem and grievances of humanity in their 17 year rule in Bodoland Territorial Region.He said that UPPL means peace,and prosperity,and subsequently dedicatedly working on the development and welfare of the peoples.
