BTR’s community vision document to unveil on Dec 30

KOKRAJHAR,DEC 28: In a significant initiative,the government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) has initiated to produce ‘Community Vision Document’ under a collective vision of progress and prosperity amongst the communities in Bodoland region.
Notably,the “Community Vision Document” is a first-of-its-kind initiative in BTR’s history that aims to bring all 26 communities of Bodoland region,apart from Bodo, Nepali,Assamese, Muslim, Bengali, Rabha, Garo, Adivashi etc.
The government of BTR has initiated the vision,and accordingly final shaped has been touched for the Inauguration.
On December 30, the vision document will be inaugurated amidst a significant gathering scheduled to be held at ITA Machkowa Complex in Guwahati.

Assam Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya, CEM of BTR, Pramod Boro,Assam cabinet minister, Urkhao Gwra Brahma,and several distinguished dignitaries are gracing the event as chief guest, invited guests in the event.
Necessary prepration and arrangements are got underway to host the event which will be withessesd the participation of peoples cutting across the communities.

Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region told that the community vision document is a first-of-its-kind initiative in BTR’s history that aims to bring all 26 communities of BTR region together to script a collective vision of progress & prosperity.He said that the  community vision for BTR is a novel initiative of the Government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) which is presenting 
the results of a participatory visioning exercise carried out among 26 different communities residing in Bodoland region.

” This project aims at sustaining peace and harmony, while also enhancing development opportunities for all the communities. By engaging in ways that honor relationality, respect and dignity of all individuals and communities, this process transects towards acknowledging, documenting and resolving the long-pending issues and unmet aspirations of the tribals and other vulnerable communities. In this way, it seeks to provide a guiding framework to the government and various other agencies for addressing the unique needs and collective goals of the Bodoland region”, CEM Boro said.

He informed that the vision document is scheduled to be unveiled on December 30 in Guwahati.He has appealed all citizens to join the unveiling ceremony as the BTR government take another step forward in the journey of sustainable peace, harmony and integrity in BTR.
