KOKRAJHAR, JULY 3: The 4th edition of U 13(Under thirteen) and 14th inter unit football tournament under Ramfalbil anchalik committee of All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) was kicked off on Wednesday at Kumguri playground near Serfanguri in Kokrajhar district.
In the inaugural match,Belguri toon on Athiabari unit which had sporting amusement amongst the sports lovers.
Kripesh Daimary, president of Kokrajhar district committee of ABSU graced the occasion as chief guest,and inaugurated the football tournament.
The sport’s event has been organised every year under the mission of Bodofa’s sustainable development in the field of sports and social welfare amongst the citizens in the region.
Daimary said that the event has been emphasizing to hunt sporting talents amongst the citizens across the region.He said that the sports event has been receiving huge applause from the sports lovers,and accordingly the tournament is organising the event every year. He said that the students is rendering humanity welfare services towards the welfare and uplift of the Bodo community as well indigenous tribal peoples in the state.
Leaders from social organisations including ABSU, Tribal Sangha,Bodo Sahitya Sabha were present in the event.
