KOKRAJHAR, JULY 2: Along with rest of the state,the Swachhta Pakhwada 2024 was launched at the Bongaigaon Refinery, Dhaligaon, Chirang on Monday amidst presence of refinery officials, local peoples.
As part of the instructions reached from the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, the Swachhta Pakhwada is being organized in all the undertakings from July 1 to July 15 across the state,and accordingly, the Swachhta Pakhwada was launched at Bongaigaon Refinery on Monday at the refinery complex.
The Executive Director and Refinery Head of the Bongaigaon Refinery, NK Barua administered the Swachhta Pledge to the employees. On this occasion, jute bags prepared on the theme of Swachhta were released and distributed amongst the participants.
An E-journal ‘Swachhta Khabar’ was also unveiled to keep the employees updated with Swachhta related information. In the E-journal, along with reporting of cleanliness activities, cleanliness awareness related materials will also be published.
On the occasion of Swachhta Pakhwada, Swachhta Rath was flagged off by Barua to make the general public awareness. Various activities are also being organized to promote the spirit of cleanliness among the employees, dependents, and other stakeholders of Bongaigaon Refinery during the fortnight from 1 July to 15 July 2024. Chief General Managers, General Managers, Deputy General Managers, Department Heads, IOOA and BGREU office bearers were present on the occasion.
