Noted physician Dr Adhir Kumar Brahma passes away

KOKRAJHAR,MAY 11: Noted physician and writer Dr Adhir Kumar Brahma passed away this morning at a private hospital in Bongaigaon.
According to family source,Dr Brahma was admitted to hospital for past few days ago for treatment after a brief illness,and breathed his last this morning around 11 am.

Brahma, was a resident of Kokrajhar Baganshali,and former superintendent as well in-charge of blood bank of Kokrajhar Rup Nath Brahma civil hospital for several years in his service life.He was also former president of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) of Kokrajhar branch.
He holds several positions in the department of health services in his days, well-known amongst the citizens in greater Kokrajhar.
He was a well-known writer in the field of Bodo literary.He authored many books including poems on his profession.

Dr Brahma, a respected figure in both the medical and literary fields, served as the Superintendent of Kokrajhar Rup Nath Brahma civil hospital during his career. 
Apart from his medical profession, Dr Brahma was also a prolific writer and an active member of Bodo Sahitya Sabha.
He was about 68.

Various social organisations and individuals, medical fraternities have extended their deep condolences and mourning on the demise of Dr Brahma,and recalled his contributions towards the medical services and literary works.
The Bodo Sahitya Sabha also extended it’s heartfelt condolences and mourning on the untimely demise of Dr Brahma.
