NDA hope winning the Sidli bye election in a huge margin of votes at Sidli LAC

KOKRAJHAR, OCT 21: The ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) has announced name of Nirmal Kumar Brahma as official candidate backed by NDA alliance for the upcoming bye-election for 31No. Sidli (ST ) LAC scheduled to be held on November 13.
Remarkably, Brahma was former MCLA of BTC, former treasurer of the UPPL party and presently serving as president of Chirang district committee, UPPL as well noted social worker in the greater Chirang district.

He was elected to the BTC Legislative Assembly in 2015 for five years,and held the position of Chirang district president of the party till date.
The bye election was necessitated in Sidli LAC following MLA Joyanta Basumatary tendered resignation after elected to the Lok Sabha elections held in June last.

Addressing the reporters at a press conference held today at the NDA alliance election steering committee office, Kashikotra in Chirang,Raju Kumar Narzary, UPPL general secretary announced the name of Nirmal Kumar Brahma as the UPPL candidate backed by NDA alliance to contest the Sidli bye election to be held up November 13.
He stated that the name of Nirmal Kumar Brahma has been nominated for the Sidli LAC bye election backed by NDA alliance,and getting majority support cutting across the communities in the Sidli constituency.
He said that peoples from all sections are coming forward to extend support the UPPL candidate,Nirmal Kumar Brahma who is backed by NDA alliance in the bye elections.

Notably, AGP party announced name of Deeptimoyee Choudhury as candidate of the party backed by NDA alliance for Bongaigaon LAC bye election.
The bye election for Bongaigaon LAC has been necessitated following MLA Phani Bhushan Choudhury offered his resignation after elected to the Parliament in recently concluded Lok Sabha elections.

Both, UPPL and AGP candidates backed by NDA alliance for Sidli and Bongaigaon LACs are filling the nomination on 24th October amidst presence of large number of crowd to contest the bye elections respectively.
UPPL candidate backed by NDA alliance, Nirmal Kumar Brahma has expressed his confident that he is getting last laugh from the Sidli LAC in a huge margin of votes in the election.

Pramod Boro,the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) and UPPL president has extended his congratulations to UPPL candidate backed by NDA alliance, Nirmal Kumar Brahma on being nominated as NDA alliance candidate to contest the Sidli bye election. He stated that NDA alliance (UPPL, BJP and AGP) candidate is winning the bye election in a huge margin of votes as peoples cutting across the communities are coming forward to extend support to the UPPL candidate.He said that the NDA alliance government in BTR,and Govt of Assam are rendering relentless services towards the welfare and development of the common masses since it’s inception in the reign,and subsequently achieved massive ushering of sustainable development across the region.
He said that the BTR and Assam government is fully committed to work for all round development of the citizens.

Assam cabinet minister,and UPPL founding president, Urkhao Gwra Brahma has congratulated the UPPL party’s candidate backed by NDA alliance, Nirmal Kumar Brahma on being nominated for contesting the Sidli LAC bye election.He said that the NDA alliance backed all candidates in the state of Assam including Sidli LAC are getting last laugh from their respective constituencies in the upcoming assembly bye elections.He stated that today the peoples of the state are waiting to vote in favour of NDA alliance candidate across the state as NDA alliance government is committed to work for all round development of the common masses.

During the candidate’s name announcement program,Lok Sabha MP, Joyanta Basumatary, Chirang district BJP leaders, AGP leaders, NDA alliance election steering committee office bearers were present.

Meanwhile, UPPL party leasers and NDA alliance partner leaders offered warm welcome and felicitation to the UPPL party candidate backed by NDA alliance, Nirmal Kumar Brahma with bouquet, traditional Aronai, Phulam Gamocha at the election steering committee office, Kashikotra.
Various social organisations,and citizens have also extended warm welcome and felicitation to NDA alliance candidate Brahma,and wished for winning the bye election in a majority margin of votes.

Meanwhile, the Opposition BPF party.also declared name of Suddha Kumar Basumatary as party’s candidate for the upcoming Sidli LAC bye-election.
Notably, Basumatary is BPF vice president and noted businessman in the area, has been nominated as BPF candidate for the bye election, scheduled to be held on November 13.
On Monday,the BPF party announced candidate’s name to contest the Sidli LAC bye election.
BPF party has expressed it’s confident for winning the bye election.
