KOKRAJHAR, JULY 1: The Members of Parliament from Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) met Union minister for Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship,
Government of India, Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday, and submitted a memorandum seeking early solutions towards the issues and grievances of Bodo medium related issues including introduction of Bodo language in CTET (central teachers eligibility test).
Rajya Sabha MP, Rwngwra Narzary,Lok Sabha MP from Kokrajhar constituency, Joyanta Basumatary,both met Union cabinet minister, Pradhan in his official residence in New Delhi,and discussed thoroughly over the issues of Bodo language and educational upliftment in the region as well across the nation.
During their meeting,both MPs submitted a memorandum for the creation of sanctioned posts of Professor and Assistant Professors in Bodo subjects in the Department of MIL & LS, University of Delhi and requesting various posts in Universities and colleges and introduction of Bodo language in C-TET and other issues .
The Union cabinet minister paid a kind patient hearing about the issues and uplift raised from the MPs from Bodoland region,and assured to initiate necessary steps towards the issues.
MP Narzary told that the meeting was a fruitful while addressing the issues of Bodo language and educational environment in the region.He said that Union cabinet minister expressed his well gesture towards the welfare and uplift of the Bodo language and education in days to come.
“Today,we met Union cabinet minister,Pradhan,and highlitged on the issues of Bodo language and education before the union minister.We,hope that present NDA alliance government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is taking stern steps towards the welfare and developmental issues of the Bodoland region”, Narzary added.
