Minister Brahma distributes Anundoram Baruah Award in Chirang

KOKRAJHAR,DEC 17: The Anundoram Baruah Award 2024 for HSLC passing out students was distributed under the Chirang district at a programme held at the District Parade ground, Kajalgaon in Chirang on Tuesday.

A total of 370 numbers HSLC passed students securing above 75% is awarded with an amount of Rs12,500 each for Computer Literacy under Anundoram Baruah Cash Award,2024.
Dr Bani Kanta Award,2024 for 580 numbers of HS passed girl students who secured above 60% and boys securing above 75% are awarded with Scooty. A total of 5938 numbers of bicycle were distributed to class-lX students.

Assam cabinet minister,and Guardian minister of Chirang, Urkhao Gwra Brahma graced the occasion and distributed the Scooty, bicycle and cheque amongst the students.
During the event, BTR executive members, Saikhong Basumatary, Dhananjay Basumatary, MLAs Nirmal Kumar Brahma, Ajoy Kumar Ray were present.

Minister Brahma extended warm greetings and best wishes to all students who were accorded awards and felicitation in the district.
He has expressed his hopeful that the awards would help the student to work hard, perseverance in studies for the bright future.
