KOKRAJHAR,MAY 3: Chief Minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma has campaigned in support of NDA alliance candidate for Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency, Joyanta Basumatary on Friday in Kokrajhar, and drummed over the welfare and developmental activities initiated by government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) and state government of Assam under the leadership of NDA alliance in the state.

Sarma graced the electioneering campaigns at Ulubari,Bijni of Chirang,Kaliphukri in Kokrajhar district amidst huge crowds of participation from different parts of the district.
Sarma also participated in a road show being organised in support of NDA alliance (BJP,AGP,UPPL) candidate, Joyanta Basumatary this evening which was started from the Govt HS & MP School playground in Kokrajhar, connected to the fly over, Vivekananda Path, Shantinagar and concluded at the DNH Himatsingka High School playground.

Tens of thousands participants participated the road show from the NDA alliance partners,apart from cabinet ministers,Ashok Singhal, Urkhao Gwra Brahma,Pramod Boro,the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, several leaders representing NDA alliance partners.
The electioneering campaign have been drawn an attraction amongst the citizens cutting across the communities in the region.

CM Sarma said that the NDA back candidate for Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency, Joyanta Basumatary is getting last laugh from Kokrajhar constituency as peoples from all corners are coming forward to extend their support to the NDA candidate.He is winning the Koksajhar Lok Sabha constituency in a margin of 3 lakh votes.
He said that the NDA alliance government in the state of Assam and BTR government is committed to work for all round development of the citizens,and rendered massive services towards uplift and welfare of India common masses.

CEM of BTR, Pramod Boro said that peoples in Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency are waiting to vote in favour of NDA alliance candidate on the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections, scheduled to be held on 7th May.He said that the candidate of NDA alliance, Joyanta Basumatary’s winning is very much clear as peoples have chosen the NDA alliance across the state including Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency.
