Bodo Sahitya Sabha’s Dwimu Nwgwr session gathered huge throng

KOKRAJHAR,JAN 11: The 64th annual conference of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha (BSS) today entered on third day held at the Dwimu Nwgwr, Dimakuchi in Udalguri district.
As part of the programme scheduled, Bodo Sahitya Sabha president, Dr Surath Narzary hoisted sabha flag followed by floral tributes to the martyrs on the occasion.

The grand event withessesd marking the celebration of Bodo language and literature that showcased multi community cultural demonstration,various activities across the state.
The conference features a variety of programs, including discussions, literary events, and cultural exchanges, aimed at celebrating the rich heritage of Bodo literature and promoting the language across the country as well as globe.

The event has drawn participants from across Assam and neighboring countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, states of India, namely West Bengal, Tripura, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh etc, with scholars, writers, and cultural enthusiasts coming together to share ideas and insights.The session is expected to strengthen efforts toward preserving and advancing the Bodo language and culture.

On it’s third day of the event, the exhibition venue of the ongoing conference saw a huge thronging of the visitors from the districts of the region.
During the event,more than fifty books including the souvenir of the reception committee of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha conference “Dimakuchi” was unveiled that gathered an attraction on the occasion.
An open discussion on the career building amongst the young generations was organised on the occasion.
Several awards giving from the Bodo Sahitya Sabha including Someswari award,Rangshar awards were given away amongst the award winners.

Assam chief minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma is gracing as the chief guest on the open session of the conference to be held on 12th January.
Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, several cabinet ministers of the state,and many distinguished dignitaries are gracing the event on the concluding day.

President of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha,Dr Surath Narzary told that the annual conference has entered into third day today at Dwimu Nwgwr in Udalguri.He said that the conference discussed at length on various issues including uplift of Bodo language, educational and cultural aspects.He mentioned that the session witnessed various sessions including seminar, group discussion,and felicitations.
