KOKRAJHAR,DEC 21: In a bizarre incident, sensation prevailed at Tangla after killing of two brothers’ of a family whose bodies were recovered on Saturday morning that created sensation in Udalguri district.
According to family source, the two young brothers, went missing since Friday morning after going to their school,and accordingly lodged complaint with police in this regard.
However,the dead bodies of the two missing brothers were recovered from Sastrapara Batabari near Tangla on Saturday morning under a mysterious circumstances.The deceased were identified as Kaushik Sharma (14) and Gaurav Sharma (12) of Jorpukhuri Tangla.
The siblings, students of Tangla Central Jatiya Vidyalaya, were reported missing on their way back home from school before their bodies, were discovered with their throats slitted . They are residents of Jorpukhuri, Tangla.
The tragic incident has shocked the Tangla area in Assam’s Udalguri district as the dead bodies of two brothers of a family .
Authorities have initiated a probe to uncover the circumstances surrounding this horrific incident.
Meanwhile,the police apprehended elder brother of the sibling’s Niraj Sharma,who has been suspected behind the incident
Local residents, cutting across the communities and the families of the victims have demanded swift justice and stronger security measures to prevent such tragedies in near future.
