KOKRAJHAR, MAY 23: A total of 13 outstanding students of HSLC final examinations,2025 from Bodo medium conferred the prestigious 19th Kamal Kumar Brahma Derhashat Award on Friday at an award presentation ceremony held at the Bishnu Rabha Bhawan,Goreswar in Tamulpur district.
The event has been convened by the All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) to confer the award and celebrated the achievements of students who ranked in the top 10 in the 2025 HSLC final Examination from Bodo medium Schools.across the state of Assam.
The students union,has been organising the event year to accord warm welcome and felicitation to the top 10 ranked holder students in Bodo medium schools.
The event highlighted the importance of mission quality education and the power of support and recognition in shaping young futures.
Notably, among the awardees, Ananta Gour, a bright student from the Adivashi community, also was conferred the award and got a recognition of the Bodo medium education uplift amongst the citizens. He passed the HSLC examination from a Bodo medium school with flying colours and was recognized for his hard work and dedication.
Rukhma Gohain Baruah,vice chairman of Assam State Secondary Education Board, Dilip Kumar Dutta Choudhury, director of Assam Jatiya Vidhyalaya,Noonmati Guwahati, Ghanashyam Medhi, Assam Jatiya Vidhyalaya,Noonmati Guwahati were graced as chief guest and special guests respectively on the occasion.
ABSU president Dipen Boro,chaired the ceremony that withessesd a well attended gathering from different districts of the state.
ABSU president Dipen Boro told that the students union has organised the event to welcome and conferring the outstanding performance students of the Bodo medium education.He said that the honour aims to encourage and motivate Bodo students across Assam to pursue academic excellence.
