KOKRAJHAR,APRIL 9: With the vision of the Vibrant BTR Mission, the first ever BTR District Conference was held at the Bodofa Cultural Complex, Chandamari here in Kokrajhar on Tuesday amidst a well attended gathering of the participants across the district.
The event was organised by the government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) which has been aimed to establish a governance model rooted in delivery, accountability, and transformation.
The event brought together elected representatives and top officials to review developmental progress and outline future priorities.
Achievements of the BTR government across various departments were presented during the conference that gathered an attraction amongst the gathering.
The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Region, Pramod Boro , Assam cabinet minister and Guardian Minister, Urkhao Gwra Brahma , MPs Joyanta Basumatary (LS), Rwngwra Narzary (RS), MLAs Jiron Basumatary, Lawrence Islary , BTC Executive Members, MCLAs, Kokrajhar District Commissioner, Masanda Pertin, the Superintendent of Police, and senior departmental officials attended the program.
Addressing the gathering, CEM Pramod Boro called on officials to intensify efforts for the region’s development. Boro said in the past 4.5 years, the BTR government has undertaken several transformative initiatives to foster peace, development, and unity. Through the Vibrant BTR Mission, we are promoting synergy, teamwork, and convergence across all levels of governance,” Boro said.
He reaffirmed the BTC administration’s commitment to 100% implementation of government schemes, citizen empowerment, and inclusive growth across the region.
