KOKRAJHAR, NOV 26: The ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) is gaining up its mass momentum amongst the citizens in the Bodoland Territorial Region districts.
More than 3000 peoples are cutting across the communities, parties, organisations including BPF, Congress and AIUDF party have joined the UPPL party at a grand mass gathering held at Fakiragram Public High School playground in Kokrajhar district on Sunday.
Remarkably, the UPPL have voted to the power in Bodoland Territorial Region in 2020, and since than rendering services for uplift and all round development of the citizens.
The newly joined members were offered warm welcome and felicitation by senior party leaders.
The chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region and UPPL president, Pramod Boro, party general secretaries, Raju Kumar Narzary, Madhab Chandra Chetry, BTR executive members Ranjit Basumatary, Ukil Mushahary, MLA Lawrence Islary, senior party leaders were present in the event.
Addressing the gathering, CEM Boro said that the UPPL party is getting it’s mass support cutting across the communities and parties in the Bodoland region.
He said that today a grand mass joining was witnessed at Fakiragram block which is a good response from the common masses.
He said that people of Bodoland region know only the United People’s Party Liberal(UPPL ) can guarantee and bring everlasting peace and ensure holistic development of the people, and thus, a huge number of people reaffirmed their faith and joined the party today.
He said that the UPPL party is committed to work for all round development of the society in Bodoland region,and accordingly launched various missions and visions for bringing ushering of sustainable development.
He said that the BTR government and party is stepping up strongly to make massive development amongst the citizens.
