KOKRAJHAR, APRIL 25: Chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Pramod Boro ceremonially distributed wheel-mounted water tankers at a programme held at BTC Secretariat complex, Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar today.
A total six water tankers were distributed for PHE sub-divisions across the Bodoland Territorial Region districts under Public Health Engineering (PHE) department of government of Bodoland Territorial Region. Notably, each of the water tanker is a capacity of 6000 litres in service to the common masses in the region.
CEM Boro said that the water tankers will go a long way in furthering PHE department’s efforts to provide clean potable water to our citizens & to counter the problem of water scarcity in urban & rural BTR.
He said that BTR government is committed to work for all round development of the common masses and accordingly distributed the water tankers among the PHE sub-divisions of the BTR.
Deputy CEM(BTR), Gobinda Chandra Basumatary, BTR executive members Dr. Nilut Swargiary, Reoreoa Narzihary, Ukil Mushahary, Ranendra Narzary, Rakesh Brahma were prominent attendees in the programme.
