Uttara Bwiswmuthiary named for Sahitya Akademi award for translation

KOKRAJHAR,MAR 17: Noted writer Uttara Bwiswmuthiary has been named for the Sahitya Akademi award for Translation in Bodo language.

Bwiswmuthiary is hailed from Kathalguri of Koksajhar,and wife of ex-MP Sansuma Khunggur Bwiswmuthiary.She was retired principal of the Debargaon HS School.
She is one of prominent women writers of the Bodo language.
She has written several books in her writing career.
Bwiswmuthiary has been named the Sahitya Akademi award for translation in Bodo language.

She has translated Kanchan Novel in Bodo language, which was written by noted writer Anuradha Pujari Sarma in Assamese.
With the announcement of the Sahitya Akademi award to Bwiswmuthiary,the Bodo Sahitya Sabha and All Bodo Students Union have extended their warm congratulations to the writer.

” We are very happy with naming of Sahitya Akademi award for Bwiswmuthiary for translation.The Bodo Sahitya Sabha extends best wishes and congratulations to Bwiswmuthiary”, said a Bodo Sahitya Sabha statement.
