UPPL’s rally for harmonious BTR evokes full response in Chirang

KOKRAJHAR, AUG 18: The ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) carried out a massive “Rally for Harmonious BTR” at Kajalgaon in Chirang district on Monday highlighting the party’s vision of peace, unity, and development in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).

The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Region, and UPPL president Pramod Boro led the rally, accompanied by party working president and Rajya Sabha MP, Rwngwra Narzary, party general secretaries Raju Kumar, Madhab Chetry, women’s wing president Pratibha Brahma, and several senior leaders of the party. Thousands of supporters thronged the venue, waving party flags and chanting slogans in support of a progressive BTR.

Addressing the gathering, CEM Pramod Boro reiterated the UPPL’s commitment to building a “harmonious and inclusive BTR” where every community can live with dignity, equal rights, and security. He said that under UPPL’s leadership, the region has witnessed a new era of peace and development, moving away from a history of unrest.

Boro appealed to the people to remain united, stating, “Our strength lies in our unity. We must reject forces that try to divide us and instead work together to ensure that the younger generation inherits a peaceful and prosperous BTR.”

He stated that the UPPL party has received people’s support and love across the region as BTR government is rendering relentless services towards the welfare and uplift of the common masses since it’s inception in the reign.He said that the government has so far implemented several issues for the wellbeing of the citizens including human resources development among the communities.
