KOKRAJHAR, MAR 3: Altogether 1500 leaders & members from different political parties,and social organisations, including BPF, Congress ,AIUDF parties have formally joined the ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) in the presence of Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region and UPPL president at a programme held at Tulsibil HS School playground under Gossaigaon subdivision in Kokrajhar district on Sunday.
All the newly joined members and leaders were offered warm welcome and felicitation with traditional Aronai, Phulam Gamocha and party mafflers during the event of public meeting and grand joining programme.
Notably, the UPPL party is gaining up it’s popularity cutting across the communities,and accordingly joining spirit is seen across the region.
CEM Boro said that peoples cutting across the communities have been showing their solidarity and support the UPPL party.
He has made several significant announcement for the developmental projects for the entire development of Tulshibil areas under Gossaigaon subdivision in days to come.
Among others, MLAs Lawrence Islary,Jiran Basumatary,BTR executive members Ranjit Basumatary, Wilson Hasda, UPPL vice president Afjal Haque Sarkar were present in the program.
