KOKRAJHAR,.SEP 14 : The United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) has officially released its 2025 BTC election manifesto, themed around “Mother, Land, Community, Education, and Peace,” pledging to build a prosperous and harmonious Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
The manifesto, titled “Vision to Action” along with the Election Assurance Card, was unveiled at the party’s Central Election Steering Committee office at Titaguri, Bhabanipur, Kokrajhar.
The chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) and UPPL President Pramod Boro released the documents in the presence of the party’s founder president and Assam cabinet minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Kokrajhar MP Joyanta Basumatary, UPPL Women’s Wing President Pratibha Brahma, and several other senior leaders of the party
Speaking at the release event, UPPL leaders emphasized that the party’s vision for 2025 and beyond centers on inclusive growth, cultural preservation, quality education, women empowerment, and lasting peace in the BTR.
The manifesto outlines comprehensive plans for economic development, education reforms, skill development, women’s welfare schemes, infrastructure upgrades, environmental protection, and the full implementation of the 2020 Bodo Peace Accord by 2027.
The party has assured that its focus will remain on creating a prosperous BTR with peaceful co-existence among all communities, aiming to transform the region into a model of harmony and progress.
CEM Pramod Boro stated that the UPPL is committed to work for all round development of the society,and dedicated relentlessly towards the uplift and welfare of the people.He said that the people of BTR is now prevailed peace and tranquility amongst the citizens since post signing of BTR accord.He said that the UPPL party is getting majority seats of the 40 member house of the BTCLA.
