KOKRAJHAR, APRIL 10: A grand rally for happiness and progress witnessed a huge thronging of party leaders and workers being held at Nalbari playground in Udalguri district.
The rally was organised by United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) central committee in association with Udalguri district committee of UPPL party that showcases the gaining up of peace and tranquility cutting across the communities in Bodoland Territorial Region.
Rajya Sabha MP and UPPL working president, Rwngwra Narzary flagged off the rally which was started from Nalbari playground near Diamond English medium school, Udalguri that traversed to Udalguri town via Rowta -Udalguri Road and concluded at the starting point where tens of thousands party supporters and well-wishers participated with holding party flags and banners.
Assam cabinet minister and founding president of UPPL party, Urkhao Gwra Brahma said that the UPPL party is the only party as peoples from all walks are coming forward to extend support and cooperation. He said that the UPPL led UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance government in BTR is working dedicatedly towards the welfare and uplift of the society since it’s inception in BTR government.
” The reports of boundary commission of BTR as per the spirit of clauses of the historic BTR peace accord will be submitted to the concern authority within short span of days”, Brahma said adding that peace is prevailed in BTR since after signing the BTR peace accord.
The opposition’s allegations levelled against the CEM (BTR) and UPPL President Sjt Pramod Boro are totally baseless and false. There is no any report of syndicate and anomalies in BTR as well state as a whole”, he said.
He has lauded that the mammoth gathering of UPPL at Udalguri was an unique and massive ushering of the happiness and progress in Bodoland region.
” It’s a clear sign that people have faith in Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma led BJP, AGP & UPPL alliance government in Assam and Pramod Boro led council government in BTR.”, Brahma added.
Chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) and UPPL president, Pramod Boro said that the deep peace and tranquility cutting across the communities is prevailed in BTR.
He said that there is no any scope to remake violence or anti social incidents. He has alleged that Opposition BPF party and Hagrama Mohilary are trying to create chaos of violence by making unsuited remarks on the society.

He has accused of that Hagrama Mohilary and his BPF party is a power hunger leader in today’s day.
He said that state government and BTR government is committed by work for all round development of the region.
Boro informed that the BTR government is taking bold initiative to make healthy upliftment and development and accordingly the BTR government is organising the Bagurumba Dance in hindi Guiness Book World Record in 2024 next as this year Bihu Dance is going to display Mega showcase during the Rongjali Bihu which is highlighting the Bagurumba Dance in the world Guiness Book records.
Boro said that the IPPL led UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance government in BTR has been emphasizing for bringing healthy development and ushering of sustainable welfare aspects since it’s inception in the Govt. Several mission and visions launched which have Highlighted social integration, tranquility, peace and harmony among the citizens, including CEM’s Super 50 Mission for UPSC Coaching, Bodoland School Adoption Mission, Bodoland Mushroom Mission, Bodoland Skill Development Mission etc. The BTR Government also successfully organised the First ever ISPL 2022 that gathered huge presence of Sports lover and spectacular from across the Bodoland as well state as a whole. Conducted Santoshi Trophy – 2022,a National Level Football Tournament that earned a good recognition while hosting the mega football event. I-League (Indian League) football event was held in BTC.
Bodoland International Knowledge Festival -2022, Kokrajhar Litfest,Mwihur International Theater Festival -2023 have met sucessful organised with huge participation across the National and International.
He said that besides this,4th Asian Kho-Kho Championship,2023 was organised smooth and successfully held at Tamulpur, Baksa district in March last.
UPPL president Boro has denied the allegations levelled against him made by Mohilary said that the allegations were totally baseless, fabricated and unwanted for the citizens of BTR.
He said that the BTR Government is committed to work dedicatedly towards the welfare and all round development of the region since it’s inception, said that the behaviour of Hagrama Mohilary is totally unconstitutional and challenging for the democratic system of our Country. Mohilary has been suffering from frustration and that’s why making irreverent remarks what’s his mouth speaks. Mohilary and his BPF party is now become irreverent in today’s juncture as common citizens are coming forward to the government and UPPL party..
” Hagrama Mohilary, who does not respect the Parliamentary System & Democracy as he is yet to attend the BTCLA sessions nearly for six consecutive sessions since the new UPPL led UPPL-BJP-GSP alliance government formed in Bodoland Territorial Region.
” Hagrama Mohilary have not new to say against the present BTR government led by UPPL president Sjt Promod Boro. So, he repeatedly making the same false and fabricated allegations which he had made since he has started his False March (obviously not the foot March as Hagrama Mohilary uttering)”,the statement said.
As people are not willing to hear him repeated false statements, he spent more time to take selfie rather to speak to people. But the issues, he raised during the meeting and sidelines of the meeting have exposed the cheating character of Hagrama Mohilary. During 17 years rule of Terror, rule of Tyranny and rule of Corruption during the BPF rule Govt the leadership of under Hagrama Mohilary, he could not remember once to issue land patta, is now barking that he will issue land patta to the people, the statement asked, if Hagrama Mohilary is too inclined to the issues of landless, why he didn’t issued during his tenure? UPPL led government is issuing land pattas to lakhs of people in BTR, which Hagrama Mohilary can’t bear, as he still feeling that all land of BTR is his personal property.
