KOKRAHAR, NOV 7: The ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) organised a first ever leadership conclave being held at Barkhata playground in Tamulpur district on Tuesday.
The conclave saw a well attended gathering of leaders, workers representing from primary committee to central of the UPPL party from different districts of the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
The chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) and president of the UPPL, Pramod Boro, Assam cabinet minister and founder president of the UPPL, Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Rajya Sabha MP and party’s working president, Rwngwra Narzary, Deputy CEM (BTR) and vice president Gabinda Chandra Basumatary, General Secretaries of UPPL,Raju Kumar Narzary, Madhab Chandra Chetry, MLAs Lawrence Islary, Jolen Daimary,Jiron Basumatary,EMs(BTR) Ranjit Basumatary, Daobaisa Boro, Rakesh Brahma, Dhananjay Basumatary, Wilson Hasda, Dr Nilut Swargiary were prominent attendees in the event.
The leadership conclave witnessed a multi cultural demonstration which was organised to make transforming the BTR and restoring peace in the region continues, and accordingly the UPPL party is committed to work for all round development of the cutting across communities.
Remarkably, the UPPL is now reigning in BTR government alliance with BJP and GSP, besides alliance partnar in the state government with BJP and AGP.
The UPPL party has emphasized to make strong uplift and development of the party amongst the citizens.
CEM Pramod Boro said that the UPPL party is working dedicatedly towards the welfare and development of the region since it’s inception.
He has lauded the organisers for organising the leadership conclave which have seen a grand participation of the party leaders and workers.
He said that his party is fully committed to work for all round development of the society across the region.
He informed that the UPPL party is working through collaborative efforts and strategic initiatives as the UPPL leaders are working tirelessly, hand in hand, to pave the path towards a peaceful, green, and smart Bodoland
He has termed that the event has marked a crucial milestone in the collective journey towards a brighter future for Bodoland, where innovative solutions and shared visions stand as the cornerstone of our commitment to foster progress.
