UPPL gets 775 new members

KOKRAJHAR, AUG 5: In a surging of political development in Bodoland Territorial Region, more than 775 new members from different political parties including BPF party have joined the ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) in various districts within 24 hours.

In Chirang, 18 new members and leaders from BPF party and ex BLT welfare society under the leadership of former general secretary of ex BLT welfare society and BPF CWC member, Kabiranjan Brahma formally joined the UPPL party at a programme held at Bengtol, Chirang on Monday.
The BPF leaders and members joined the UPPL party during the 9th foundation day celebration UPPL party in the august presence of CEM of BTR,and UPPL president, Pramod Boro, Assam cabinet minister, Urkhao Gwra Brahma, deputy CEM of BTR, Gabinda Chandra Basumatary.
Baksa and Udalguri districts on Sunday.

In Baksa, over 400 new members from from Gana Suraksha Party (GSP) and BPF joined the UPPL party at a programme held at Niz Jalaki, Barama in the august presence of Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR),and UPPL president.
CEM Boro,and senior party leaders extended warm welcome and felicitation with traditional Aronai and party mafflers.

In Udalguri,more than 300 new members joined the UPPL party at a programme held at Bhergaon amidst presence of huge party leaders.
UPPL party leader and BTR executive member,Daobaisa Boro welcomed the newly joined members.

In Kokrajhar, 57 new members from BPF party joined the UPPL in the august presence of senior party leaders.
CEM Boro while welcoming the newly joined members,said that peoples from different political parties are coming forward to join the UPPL party, and accordingly joined UPPL party at various places across the entire Bodoland region.
He said that the UPPL has worked tirelessly for the development of BTR.
