KOKRAJHAR, FEB 15: A total of 2121 new members from different political parties including BPF, Congress and social organisations have joined the UPPL party at a programme held at Bamwngaon under Chirang block in Chirang district on Thursday.
The new members were accorded warm welcome and felicitation with traditional Aronai and party flag amidst presence of UPPL president and chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, Pramod Boro, senior party leaders.
The UPPL party has been gaining up it’s momentum amongst cutting across citizens of the region.
CEM Boro said that the UPPL party is committed to work for all round development of the society since it’s inception. He said that the BTR government so far initiated various developmental and welfare steps towards the uplift and development of the region.
