KOKRAJHAR, FEB 26: In a significant development, the ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) is getting mass support cutting across the communities across the entire districts of Bodoland Territorial Region since it’s voted to the reign in BTR government.
On Monday, more than 2000 new members from different political parties, social organisations, individuals including BPF, Congress parties have joined the UPPL party at a party meeting held at Harisinga in Udalguri amidst presence of UPPL president and chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, Pramod Boro,senior party leaders.
The newly joined members were offered warm welcome and felicitation with traditional Aronai and party mafflers at a public meeting cum joining program ceremony.
CEM Pramod Boro have extended his hearty welcome and greetings to all newly joined members, said that it is an overwhelmed by the spontaneous outpouring of love & support for UPPL in the entire BTR districts, and today witnessed a grand public gathering at Harisinga constituency.
“I am extremely extending a hearty welcome to all new members who have joined our UPPL family today. Together, we’ll build the Bodoland region of our dreams. We are committed to work for all round development of the society”, Boro added.
