KOKRAJHAR, OCT 4: The ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) is gaining up it’s popularity amongst the peoples across the Bodoland region,more than 1300 new members joined the UPPL party on Friday at a grand joining programme held at Banargaon playground in Kokrajhar district.
The newly joined members were offered warm welcome and felicitated with party mafflers who are coming from various political parties, social organisations including BPF, Congress etc.
Pramod Boro,the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region and UPPL president,party general secretaries, Raju Kumar Narzary, Madhab Chandra Chetry, BTR executive members, Ranjit Basumatary,Ukil Mushahary, Wilson Hasda, MLA Lawrence Islary, and severa senior party leaders graced the event,and welcomed the newly joined members.
CEM Pramod Boro stated that the peoples of the Bodoland region have been extending their belive and faith on UPPL party.He said that the UPPL party is people’s choice across the communities.
