UPPL-BJP hold joint meeting in Kokrajhar 2

KOKRAJHAR, OCT 1: A joint meeting of the ruling partner United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was held at Bodoland Guest House, Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar on Sunday.

The meeting discussed thoroughly over the strategies initiative preparation regarding preparation of the upcoming Parliamentary elections due to be held in early 2024 next year.
The meeting have decided to initiate a strong coordination and cooperation building up within alliance partners in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Both the UPPL and BJP party have agreed to work out with a deep communication spirit to win the heart of the common masses, and accordingly stepped up a joint initiative to work for all round development of the citizens living in the entire Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency as well as a whole of the state.

Assam minister in-charge for Baukhugri Assembly constituency under Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency, Bimal Bora, MLAs Suren Phukan, Hemango Thakuria, and Kokrajhar MLA Lawrence Islary, BTR executive members Dr Nilut Swargiary, Wilson Hasda were prominent attendees in the event.

Minister Bora said that he and his team Members are coming Kokrajhar to meet party workers of both the UPPL and BJP parties as the party workers at the grassroot levels are the backbone of an organisation, connecting leaders to the community by fostering community engagement, mobilizing support, and disseminating information.

“By gauging local sentiments, they ensure that the party understands and addresses grassroots concerns. We met party members of both the UPPL and BJP parties in the joint meeting and shared views & expression amongst the citizens to understand the various issues that they face and also formulate effect strategies to further enhance the party’s grassroots impact and outreach”, Bora said adding that the dedication efforts of the parties must be maintained in days to come while ensuring deliverance of all development and welfare programs initiated by PM Adarniya Shri Narendra Modi Ji at the center and chief minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region has lauded the initiative of holding the joint meeting between UPPL and BJP parties across the region. He said that the NDA government in the centre, Dispur and Kokrajhar is working dedicatedly towards the welfare and uplift of the society since it’s inception. He said that his UPPL party is committed to work for all round development of the region, and subsequently stepped up by launching various mission and vision across the Bodoland region.
