U 13 Football Tournament begins in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR, JULY 16: The third U 13 Football tournament under the mission of Bodofa Sustainable for change was kicked off on Sunday at Dotma HS school playground in Kokrajhar.
The tournament was organised by the Kokrajhar district committee of All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) to hunt for young talents in the field of sports in the region.

General secretary of the ABSU, Khanindra Basumatary and eminent international women footballer Apurna Narzary were graced as chief guest and special guest and inaugurated the tournament.
The students union has been organising the tournament every year to hunt sport’s talents across the region under the mission of Bodofa Sustainable for change.

In the inaugural day, Ramfalbil anchalik committee take on South Kokrajhar anchalik committee.
During the programme, eminent international women footballer Apurna Narzary and her father, Biswajit Narzary, who is energetic sports organiser was offered warm welcome and felicitation.

Among others, ABSU vice president Khwrwmdao Wary, BTR executive member Ukil Mushahary, UPPL general secretary Raju Kumar Narzary, Political Secretary to the CEM (BTR) Dr Berlao K Karjie were prominent attendees in the event.
