KOKRAJHAR, AUG 2: The chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Pramod Boro and Bodo Sahitya Sabha president Dr Surath Narzary ceremonially inaugurated the textbooks of first year of Higher Secondary School in Bodo medium at a programme held at Tamulpur HS School on Wednesday.
The event was witnessed a grand gathering of students and guardians which was organised by Bodo Sahitya Sabha in association with Tamulpur district committee of Bodo Sahitya Sabha.
The inauguration of the textbooks in Bodo medium for HS first year has been paving the way for taking higher studies on mother tounge in the state.
CEM Boro has extended his best wishes and greetings on the occasion of inauguration of textbooks in Bodo medium for higher secondary school.
” It is a matter of great pride to learn in one’s mother tongue. It was a proud moment to attend the inaugural function of Higher Secondary School first year textbooks in Bodo medium”, Boro added.
Among others, MLAs Lawrence Islary, Jolen Daimary, Bodo Sahitya Sabha general secretary Nilakanta Goyary, ABSU president Dipen Boro; ABSU general secretary Khanindra Basumatary; Academic deputy secretary ASHEC Anurapa Choudhary; Education Director Jagadish Brahma and several senior officials from BTR government were prominent attendees in the event.
