KOKRAJHAR, APRIL 20: The 26th Village Get-together cum Rongjali Bwisagu Celebration was concluded on Sunday being held at the Patakata Model Village under Gossaigaon subdivision in Kokrajhar district with a vibrant two-day programmes.
The event was organised by Patakata Model Village society to mark the Rongjali Bwisagu Pwrbw. The festivities featured sports, literary competitions, and cultural performances by children and villagers of the village.
The event began with flag hoisting by village elder Doneswar Brahma.
A felicitation ceremony for village elders was held followed by a community feast.
An open session was also held with Dr. Ajit Boro, Principal of Gossaigaon BEd College and President of Gurudev Kalicharan Brahma Trust as chief guest. BTR Executive Member Ukil Muchahary, NFR Chief Engineer Nilmani Brahma, and former Kokrajhar Girls’ College Principal Dr. Rupam Brahma also graced the occasion.
The celebration gathered an enthusiastic festivity environment amongst the villagers that saw a good response.
