KOKRAJHAR, OCT 10: A review meeting of Bodoland Territorial Region ( BTR) government flagship programme was held at Bodofa Cultural Complex, Chandamari in Kokrajhar on Tuesday.
Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region and all councillors attended the meeting which took the status of thirty (30) flagship programmes of the BTR government were presented and minutely reviewed by one and all present.
“The BTR government is now undoing the deficiencies left behind by the former Hagrama-led Government. We are now building on our strengths and working concertedly to achieve our vision- Peaceful, Smart and Green Bodoland”, said CEM Boro.
He exhorted all present to draw inspiration from Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and his vision of ensuring good governance in India by creating strong teamwork. He called for use of creativity and innovations in execution of all schemes and projects in BTR too.
It is noteworthy that the UPPL-BJP-GSP coalition government headed by Pramod Boro has been carrying out a plethora of social, economic and infrastructural advancement initiatives to foster peace, stability and development in the region. The flagship programmes covered a wide-range of sectors. The collective goal is to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of the people of BTR.
The programmes reviewed were included Rog Nirmul BTR (including newly launched Aai Onsai Bithangki and Cancer Care Trust), Bodoland Pig Mission, SEED Mission, Bodoland Handloom Mission, Bodofa Super 50 Missions, Giyan Swrang Bithangki, Bodoland School Adoption Programme, Bodoland Community Counselling Programme, Bodofa Livelihood Mission, Mushroom Mission, Happiness Mission, Career Counselling Programme, Bodoland STEM Programme, Mainao Swrang Bithangki, Mission Fin Rwdwmkhng, Green Bodoland Mission, Bodoland Sericulture Mission, Mission Bwiswmuti, Theng Phakri Digital Empowerment Programme, Lakhpati Mahila including All Women-FPCs, Bodoland Rural Industrial Centres (BRICs), Start-up Desk / Invest Bodoland, Fisheries Sector Initiatives, Gender Resource Cells, People’s Hope People’s Plan, CEM’s Dashboard, Subungthini Thandwi Mungkhlong Bineswar Brahma Bodoland Knowledge Centres, ‘Jalakho’ Memorial Cinema Halls in towns/cities of BTR, Mungkhlong Sujit Narzary Memorial Auditoriums in all BTR Constituencies, and Bir Chilagang Basumatary Memorial Mini Stadiums.
