KOKRAJHAR, MAY 8: The results of the Medical Entrance Examination for the 2025-26 academic session under the Bodofa UN Brahma Super Fifty Plus Mission, a flagship programme of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) government was declared.
Addressing the reporters at a press conference held at the Bodoland Guest House in Kokrajhar on Thursday, BTR executive member, Wilson Hasda and BTC Secretary,Amarjyoti Barman told that the results of the results of the Medical Entrance Examination for the 2025-26 academic session under the Bodofa UN Brahma Super Fifty Plus Mission declared on the basis of the merit of the students.
A total 50 students have been selected to take medical coaching under the mission.
Hasda stated that the selected students have been undergoing for medical coaching under the Bodofa UN Brahma Super 50 Mission for the 2025-26 year who have got selected through a competative examination being conducted by the concerned authorities in BTC government.
Notably,the government of Bodoland Territorial Region have launched Bodofa UN Brahma Super 50 Mission for medical,a flagship programme under the department of Education to produce human resource development in Bodoland.
This year,50 students have been selected for the coaching,and more 16 aspiring students are additionally to be selected to acquire coaching from the unrepresented communities.
He said that the BTR government under the leadership of Pramod Boro,the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region is working dedicatedly towards the welfare and development of the society across the region.He said that the flagship programme has received a good response from the public as the BTR government has initiated humanity welfare initiatives, and the numbers of the Bodofa Super 50 plus Mission has been increased to facilitate more opportunities amongst the aspiring candidates of the medial coaching.
” These additional students are coming from unrepresented communities residing within the BTC region. This move ensures inclusivity and equal opportunity for all communities in the pursuit of medical education”,Hasda said.
People cutting across the communities have hailed and welcomed the announcement widely, and expressed their hopeful that it will be a step forward in BTC’s commitment to educational empowerment and nurturing future healthcare professionals from the region.
