Kokrajhar, July 9:A seven-member delegation of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Assam Legislative Assembly arrived in Kokrajhar on Wednesday to review the implementation of various government schemes in the district.
The team, led by MLA Nurul Huda, conducted field visits to assess the progress and effectiveness of development initiatives under different departments.
As part of their inspection, the committee visited an agriculture department project in Dimlaguri. Additionally, the team evaluated three ongoing projects under the Soil Conservation Department in the Uttar Basbari area.
The visit aimed to ensure transparency and accountability in the execution of public welfare schemes and to identify areas for improvement.
