KOKRAJHAR, MAR 21: In order to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the APSC Screening Test at Kokrajhar for the post of Assistant Accounts Officer in Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL), the District Administration has imposed restrictions under Section 163 of the BNSS.
Gathering or assembly of five or more persons and playing of loud music or sound are strictly prohibited within a 100-meter radius of the examination centres during the exam period. These restrictions will be enforced across the entire district of Kokrajhar on Sunday, 23rd March.
The examination will take place in two shifts, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM in the morning and from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM in the afternoon, at Kokrajhar Govt. College and Kokrajhar Girls’ H.S. School in Kokrajhar.
Police personnel, Army and Para-Military forces deployed at the examination centres, officials and staff assigned for examination duty, and shops or commercial establishments located within the restricted zone are not subject to these restrictions.
This order has been issued ex-parte in view of urgency of maintaining peace and ensuring the smooth conduct of the examination. It will come into immediate effect and remain in force until further notice. The order will be enforced from 23rd March, 2025 onwards.
