Daily markets, weekly hut bazaars to remain closed on 5 January
KOKRAJHAR,JAN 3: To ensure smooth traffic movement and maintain public order during the Common Written Test (CWT) 2025, scheduled for 5th January 2025 under the State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), the District Magistrate of Kokrajhar, Masanda Pertin, IAS, has issued a prohibitory order under Section 163 BNSS.
A large number of candidates are expected to travel to and within Kokrajhar district for the examination, which could lead to significant congestion and potential disruptions. In light of this, the District Magistrate has ordered the closure of all daily markets and weekly hut bazaars across Kokrajhar town on 5th January 2025.
This prohibitory order has been issued on an ex-parte basis, given the urgency of maintaining peace and tranquility during this critical period and to prevent any probable breach of peace or disruption to the examination process.
Any individuals or parties who may be aggrieved by this order can apply to the District Magistrate for a review, alteration, modification, or exemption at any stage.
