NTPC signs MoAs with VKV of Arunachal Pradesh

KOKRAJHAR, SEP 30: The NTPC have  signed two memorandums of agreement( MoAs) with Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) Arunachal Pradesh Trust for infrastructure development in VKV Balijan and VKV Kharsang and for upgradation of computer laboratory and library in six numbers VKV namely Balijan, Sunpura, Jairampur, Banderdewa, Ziro, Kharsang under its corporate social responsibility.

The agreement signing ceremony was held at Itanagar of Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday amidst presence of officials from VKV and NTPC authorities.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Partha Mazumder, Regional Executive Director, ER-II, Karunakar Das, CGM, NTPC Bongaigaon,Rajnish Rastogi, GM(HR), ER-II, Shri Shashi Shekhar, AGM,HR, NTPC Bongaigaon, Sujata Nayak, Secretary, VKV and Rupesh Mathur, joint secretary, VKV.

The Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Arunachal Pradesh Trust (VKVAPT) has been playing a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape of the state.
The Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas, under VKV Arunachal Pradesh Trust, have been instrumental in providing quality education to children across Arunachal Pradesh. These schools are spread across 21 out of 25 districts in the state, offering education to children from diverse backgrounds, including the less privileged sections in remote areas.

The signing of MoAs signifies NTPC’s commitment to supporting education and infrastructure development in the country.
The NTPC believes that education is a powerful tool for transformation and empowerment, and through these initiatives, NTPC contributes to the growth and progress of the students and communities in the entire nation.
