NTPC Bongaigaon Salakati handed over three ambulances to district administration in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR,AUG 29: As part of its CSR initiatives, NTPC Bongaigaon, Salakati handed over three Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulances to the District Administration, Kokrajhar, to strengthen medical facilities and provide timely support to patients in need. 

Notably, the ambulances, fully equipped with modern medical support systems, were formally handed over by Shri Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, Salakati to Smt. Masanda Magdalin Pertin, IAS, District Commissioner, Kokrajhar, in the presence of Smt. Kabita Deka, ACS, Additional District Commissioner, Kokrajhar, Shri Amit K Asthana, AGM (HR), NTPC Bongaigaon, Dr. Atul Chandra Baro, Principal, Kokrajhar Medical College and Hospital, along with officials of the District Health Services, Kokrajhar, and the HR Department of NTPC Bongaigaon.

Speaking on the occasion, Smt. Masanda M Pertin, IAS, District Commissioner, Kokrajhar, thanked NTPC Bongaigaon for its support in strengthening healthcare facilities in the district. Shri Arnab Maitra, Head of Project, NTPC Bongaigaon, reiterated NTPC’s commitment to community well-being, highlighting that health and welfare remain key focus areas of the company’s CSR efforts.

The ambulances were facilitated following a request from the District Administration as a part of strategic CSR to provide enhanced medical help for the needy and underserved sections of Kokrajhar district. 

The District Health Services, Kokrajhar will operate and manage these vehicles with its staff, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to the community.

This initiative reflects NTPC Bongaigaon’s continued commitment to promoting healthcare and extending meaningful support to the communities in its neighbourhood.
