KOKRAJHAR ,AUG 19 : In a significant step initiated by the government of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), appointment letters to 84 newly recruited Foresters-I and 330 Forest Guards were ceremonially distributed at a programme held at the Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankardev Auditorium Hall in Tamulpur on Tuesday.
The Chief Executive Member (CEM) of Bodoland Territorial Region, Pramod Boro attended the event as the chief guest and formally handed over the appointment letters to the recruits under the department of Forest and Environment, Govt of BTR.
Addressing the gathering, CEM Boro congratulated the newly appointed officials and expressed confidence that they would serve with utmost dedication to protect and preserve the rich, vibrant, and diverse natural heritage of the BTR.
He further emphasized the crucial role of the Forest Department in safeguarding the region’s biodiversity and natural resources for future generations.
He said that the government of BTR has been emphasizing to ensuring employment and empowering BTR across the region.
