KOKRAJHAR, APRIL 18: The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) candidate for Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency, Joyanta Basumatary filed his nomination papers before the returning officer today at DC office in Kokrajhar amidst presence of the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) and UPPL supremo, Pramod Boro, Assam cabinet ministers,Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Chandra Mahan Patowary, leaders from NDA alliance partners- BJP,AGP and UPPL.
A grand Vijay Sankalp Samavesh was carried out in support of NDA alliance candidate for Kokrajhar HPC, Joyanta Basumatary at the Green Field, Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar where more than sixty thousand party supporters and well wishers thronged and extended their support to the NDA candidate.
A grand rally starting from Green Field, Bodofa Nwgwr to Assam Oil depot was organised via JD Road in Kokrajhar town along with NDA alliance candidate, and accordingly NDA candidate, Joyanta Basumatary filed his nomination papers before the returning officer for Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency,Pradip Kumar Dwivedi.
National president of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) ,Jagat Prakash Nadda, Assam Pradesh BJP president, Bhabesh Kalita, AGP leader Ramendra Narayan Kalita graced the programme and addressed the gathering which witnessed a grand participation cutting across the communities across the region.
In his speech,Nadda said that the NDA government at the centre, state of Assam and BTR government have jointly working dedicatedly towards the welfare and uplift for all round development of the citizens across the country.He mentioned that the India country is coming forward to the new ray of hope and aspirations under the leadership of Prine Minister, Narendra Modi in it’s ten year reign in the country.He said that several humanity welfare and developmental activities and initiatives are initiated so far, and received huge positive response from the common masses across the country. He said that the BJP and NDA alliance partners are committed to work dedicatedly to render welfare humanity services amongst the citizens.He has expressed his name that NDA alliance candidates including Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency, Joyanta Basumatary are winning the Lok Sabha elections in a vast margin of votes.
Nadda said that the Congress party had failed to address the people’s hope and grievances in their decade long reign in the country, and also the Congress never thought of welfare and developmental aspects of the common masses.He also alleged that the Congress party and it’s leaders never want people’s integration and unity,and Congress party always gave ignorance attitudes during their reign tenure.
CEM of Bodoland Territorial Region, and UPPL president, Pramod Boro said that today’s grand mass gathering in favour of NDA UPPL candidate for Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency, Joyanta Basumatary is a sign of people’s massive support to the NDA alliance.
He said that peoples cutting across the communities are waiting to franchise their votes in favour NDA alliance candidates, and coming forward to extend support to the NDA alliance.
He said that NDA alliance candidates across the state of Assam including Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency, Joyanta Basumatary are winning the elections with huge lakhs of margin of votes in the parliamentary elections.
