KOKRAJHAR, MAR 12: A joint meeting regarding the formation of central election steering committee for No.1 Kokrajhar Lok Sabha ST (HPC) of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partners United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL), Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).and Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) was held at the Bodofa Cultural Complex, Chandamari in Kokrajhar on Monday.
The election steering committee was formed with Hemendra Nath Brahma, UPPL senior leader and ex-MLA as chairman and Gautam Das, BJP leader and Executive Member(EM) of BTR as chief convenor along with other seven members amidst presence of senior BJP leader and Assam cabinet Minister, Ranjeet Kumar Dass, UPPL president and CEM of BTR, Pramod Boro, senior AGP leader, Karna Mohan Roy.
The meeting discussed thoroughly over the preparation of NDA partners for the ensuing Parliamentary elections across the state including Kokrajhar Lok Sabha constituency.
The NDA alliance partners have decided to form LAC level election management committee in all areas under Kokrajhar constituency to meet a healthy communication as well strengthening the party affairs.
The meeting also discussed deeply on the uplift and developmental welfare activities across the region through the spirit of NDA alliance partners.
Minister Das told that the NDA alliance partners are fully prepared to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, and hopeful that the NDA alliance partners are winning 12 plus seats across the state. He said that NDA alliance candidate is winning the Kokrajhar constituency with majority support of the common masses.
CEM Pramod Boro said that UPPL party candidate under the NDA alliance is getting majority support in Kokrajhar constituency,and subsequently winning is now clear.He said that BJP led NDA alliance partners are winning the hearts of the common masses across the state as cutting across the communities are coming forward to extend support the NDA alliance partners.
He said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi is becoming PM for third consecutive term in the country as BJP led NDA alliance partners winning more than 400 seats across the country.
He said that BTR government is committed to work for all round development of the society.
Boro also informed that Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is arriving in Kokrajhar on 14th March to attend a joint meeting of NDA partners.The meeting is organising to be held at the Green Field,Bodofa Nwgwr in Kokrajhar.
He said that party leaders, members and workers representing the UPPL, BJP and AGP parties are participating in a grand manner.
