KOKRAJHAR,APRIL 7: More than 3500 new members from different political parties and social organisations have joined the ruling United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) at different places in the districts of Bodoland Territorial Region on Monday.
In Bijni, 2000 new members representing different political parties, including BPF, GSP, Congress, and social organisations have joined the UPPL party at a programme held at the Panbari under Bijni district in the presence of CEM of Bodoland Territorial Region and UPPL president, Pramod Boro,and several senior party leaders.
CEM of BTR, Pramod Boro,senior party leaders have welcomed the newly joined members with party mafflers and traditional Aronai amidst a well attended gathering on the occasion.
The peoples cutting across the communities are coming forward to extend support to the UPPL party, and accordingly joined the party.
In Tamulpur, more than 1500 new members from different political parties under Darrangajuli block joined the UPPL party at a programme held at the Kumarikata.
The UPPL party is now gaining up it’s popularity amongst the citizens and communities across the region.
CEM Boro have hailed the newly joined members,and welcomed them to the UPPL family.
