KOKRAJHAR, JUNE 9: A ceremonial distribution of Ayushman Bharat cards under No. 28 Gossaigaon Assembly constituency was carried out being held at Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner office conference hall in Kokrajhar district on Friday.
A total of 10 beneficiaries under Gossaigaon constituency were formally distributed the Ayushman cards.
MLA from Gossaigaon LAC, Jiran Basumatary and deputy commissioner, Kokrajhar, Varnali Deka graced the programme and handed over the Ayushman Bharat cards to the beneficiaries.
MLA Basumatary said that the state government has been emphasizing to render services amongst the needy people who are coming from economically weaker background across the state.
He said that necessary efforts are on to provide this facility to every economically weaker section of the people society through which citizens can get healthy health facilities.
District health officers and various departmental officers were present in the programme.
