Joint meeting of Sixth Schedule Council CEMs with Union Home Minister Shah held

KOKRAJHAR,JULY 25: A joint meeting of the Chief Executive Members(CEMs) of Sixth Schedule Councils with Union Home Minister, Amit Shah was held in New Delhi on Thursday which had discussed at length on the amendmend of the Indian Constitution.

During the meeting, representatives from 10 (ten) sixth schedule councils including Bodoland Territorial Region participated,and emphasized towards the implementation of all clauses of the BTR Peace Accord,2020.
Union Home Minister, Amit Shah has given his assurance to make properly implementation of all clauses of the BTR Peace Accord,and announced to constitute a committee under the ministry of state, ministry of Home Affairs, Nityanand Rai to resolve the development issues of the sixth schedule councils of the northeastern region.

Pramod Boro,the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region, told that the joint meeting with Union Home Minister was a fruitful that highlighted on the developmental aspects of the sixth schedule councils.He has lauded the Govt of India and Home Ministry for initiating the steps while bringing healthy welfare as well uplift of the councils.
” It’s a glad to have joined the meeting of Chief Executive Members of Sixth Schedule Councils with Hon’ble Union Home Minister Adarniya Shri Amit Shah Ji in New Delhi today. Hon’ble HM gave his assurance that issues relating to all 10 Sixth Schedule Councils, including the implementation of all clauses of the Bodo Peace Accord, 2020, will be addressed amicably. Hon’ble HM has also decided to constitute a committee under the chairmanship of Hon’ble MoS, Ministry of Home Affairs, Shri Nityanand Rai ji to resolve the development issues of our people”, Boro said.
