KOKRAJHAR,MAR 23: A free medical camp was organized at the Science College auditorium complex in Kokrajhar on Saturday that saw a huge people from different parts of the district participated,and took medical services.
The camp was organised by the The Peoples Aids NGO in collaboration with Thalamus Institute of Medical Sciences, Siliguri of West Bengal to extend health awareness and services amongst the citizens.
The camp focused on diagnosing and providing medical support for neurological conditions, including brain stroke, brain tumors, and spine disorders.
Hundreds of people from different parts of Kokrajhar district attended the camp to avail themselves of the free medical services.
A team of specialized doctors conducted check-ups, offered consultations, and provided guidance on treatment options. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about neurological disorders and ensure early diagnosis and proper medical care.
Dr Malay Chakraborty from Siliguri, stated that the camp has received a good response from people of the region,and doctors rendered services for providing medical aids.He said that the medical camp is very much important to raise awareness on health issues among the citizens.
“Participating people have expressed their happiness and gratitude to the organisers as they have got an opportunity to take medical services in free manner.This will helping hand common masses to diagnosis on various diseases including brain stroke, brain tumour, spine disorders etc “, peoples said.
