KOKRAJHAR, JUNE 15: The Mission Bwiswmuthi 2.0, a flagship programme of BTR Govt was ceremonially launched at Kharuajan in Baksa district on Sunday amidst a grand participation of citizens.

Assam Governor, Lakshman Prasad Acharya formally inaugurated the programme in the presence of Pramod Boro, the chief executive member of Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), several executive members of government of BTR,and senior officials.

Remarkably, this flagship initiative aims to grant land rights to small tea growers, rubber cultivators, and landless families across Bodoland. Building on the success of Phase 1, Mission Bwiswmuthi 2.0 reaffirms government’s commitment to peace, justice, and inclusive development. A significant step towards empowering every family with rightful land ownership, dignity, and social security.

A flagship initiative of the Government of BTR, Mission Bwiswmuthi 2.0 aims to provide land rights to small tea growers, rubber cultivators, and landless families across Bodoland. The mission builds upon the success of Mission Bwiswmuthi 1.0, over 1,60,000 people had already benefited from 14 types of land-related services delivered digitally across the region.

With the launch of Mission Bwiswmuthi 2.0, residents of the Bodoland Territorial Region will now be able to access 20 different services.

CEM of BTR, Pramod Boro stated that the Mission Bwiswmuthi 2.0 has been inaugurated today in Baksa, which is
a decisive step towards offering land rights to small tea growers, rubber cultivators, and landless families across Bodoland. Building on the success of Mission Bwiswmuthi 1.0, this new phase reinforces our unwavering commitment to peace, justice and inclusive socio-economic development.He said that the government of BTR is committed to work for all round development of the society,and accordingly rendered services dedicatedly towards the welfare and uplift of the people.

Assam cabinet ninister, Urkhao Gwra Brahma, deputy CEM of BTR, Gobinda Chandra Basumatary, MP Rwngwra Narzary were among those present.
